Pricing FAQ
We’re here to help with any questions you have about plans, pricing, and supported features.
What is the difference between a public and a private app?
Public apps provide an open user registration and a login or do not have user accounts. Private apps should not have a registration option and only provide a login, meaning that the app creator controls the user list using Fliplet’s Data Sources.
How are public and private app users calculated?
A public app user is any device that accesses your app. A private app user is any user that logs in to your app, independently of how many devices they use to do it.
What counts as an active user on Fliplet?
An active user is defined as someone who has started a session in the app. For private plans, active users are only those who are logged in; users who access the app without logging in are not counted. On private apps, even if users log in on multiple devices, they are counted as a single active user. However, for public plans, a single person may be counted as multiple active users if they access the app on different devices, regardless of the app’s login feature.
What happens if my app has fewer users than the minimum included in my plan?
As long as your app user count is within the minimum included in your plan, you will pay the stated plan price. There’s no reduction in price for having fewer users. This applies to both monthly and yearly plans.
What happens if I exceed the number of users I selected for my yearly plan?
With yearly plans, you pre-select the number of monthly users for your app and pay upfront with a 17% discount. If you exceed the selected user count in a given month, you’ll be billed for the extra users at the end of that billing month. You only pay for the extra users if and when your app exceeds the pre-selected user count. If you don’t go over the selected user count in other months, there’s no additional charge.
Can I switch from a monthly plan to a yearly plan?
Yes. You can upgrade from a monthly plan to a yearly plan at any time. Once you switch, you’ll benefit from the 17% discount and the flexibility to pre-select your monthly user count for the year ahead.
Can I switch from a yearly plan to a monthly plan?
Yes. You can switch from a yearly plan to a monthly plan at any time. However, when you make this change, your yearly plan will be canceled immediately, and there will be no refund for the unused time remaining in the plan.
What happens if I change my app plan while I’m on a subscription?
Changes to your plan are handled seamlessly, regardless of whether you’re on a monthly or yearly subscription:
- Upgrades: You will be charged the prorated difference for the remaining time in your billing cycle.
- Downgrades: You will receive a prorated credit, which will be applied toward your next renewal.
This ensures your billing is always fair and accurate, whether your billing cycle is monthly or yearly.
Is the yearly plan auto-renewed, and how will I be notified before renewal?
Yes, yearly plans are auto-renewed. A few days before your renewal date, you will receive an email from our payment processing service notifying you of the upcoming payment.
Will the price remain the same upon renewal, or could it change?
The price and discount will remain the same upon renewal. If there are any price updates, you will be notified in advance.
What payment methods are accepted for monthly and yearly plans?
We accept debit cards, credit cards, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link as payment methods.
How much flexibility and functionality does Fliplet offer?
Fliplet is both a no-code and low-code app builder. No-code means that anyone without technical expertise can still build powerful apps through simple drag-and-drop options. Low-code means that app can be extended yet further for those with technical expertise. This opens up the possibility of customizing and changing absolutely anything you would like.
Can I change the look and feel of each app solution?
Absolutely! We offer a range of very extensive appearance settings. These can be applied to individual features, or globally across the entire app.
Are published mobile apps native apps?
Yes, they are actually native apps! One of the biggest benefits of using Fliplet is that you can publish native mobile apps to both Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You can also publish web apps which work on any device, but native apps give your users the best experience on their mobile devices.
What mobile devices do apps created with Fliplet work on?
- Apple iOS (8 and above)
- Google Android (4.1 and above)
- Web browser – Edge, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and other popular web browsers
